Wireless Blutooth Technology: The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread!

Bluetooth wireless technology is now something that we have come to recognise as an everyday option, (much like our washing machine). Bluetooth wireless technology was made famous by it's use in integrated mobile telephones. Nearly all mobile phones now come with this feature as standard and make it very easy to send and receive pictures, videos or any other data between 2 phones. You can send this information simply by being within range, (usually 10-20 meters) of each other. Also, hands free mobile phone kits commonly utilise Bluetooth wireless technology.

However, bluetooth has far more uses than simply swapping pictures and videos, or talking on your phone no hands! My personal favourite is the fact that it gives me the ability to sit on the comfort of my sofa with my keyboard on my lap, and my mouse next to me and not have a single wire in sight. I also have a USB Dongle. This form of bluetooth wireless technology may well be a very strange name but once again, it has many uses. The first one is that it allows me to connect my mobile phone to my computer. This means that I can easily synchronise my address book, phone numbers, time and date, and countless other things, as well as download pictures, videos, music, and games at the touch of a button, and without having to leave my couch.

Another feature of the bluetooth wireless age, comes into play with our home printers. Supposing your computer is in your lounge but you don't have room for your printer, or you simply don't want it on display. No problem, by using bluetooth wireless technology you can simply hide your printer in a closet or in your bedroom and connect it to your computer with.....yep, you guessed it. No Wires. Also what if you have more than one computer, or a laptop. It's not easy to connect 2 or 3 computers to the same printer unless you have a network set up in your home. And of course, it seems pretty pointless to go and buy a printer for every computer. No problem, Bluetooth to the rescue. By having a USB dongle attached to each computer, and a Bluetooth USB printer adaptor, you can share your printer with all of your PC's. And the best part is you don't need to be a tech head to be able to do it.

All in all, I think that Bluetooth wireless technology is without a doubt, among the top inventions in recent years.
